The Main Event
Christmas Dinner – BOSH! – The perfect all-in-one, nice and simple recipe video guiding you through a mushroom wellington, maple roasted vegetables, balsamic Brussels sprouts, cranberry stuffing balls, mustard mash and crisp roast potatoes.
Mushroom, Chestnut and Ale Pie – Whilst pie is not typically served with Christmas dinner, it is a tasty and warming alternative to a nut roast and also goes well with potatoes, veg and gravy.
Yorkshire Puds – Cook these up to avoid those pitying looks you’ll get for having a Yorkshire Pud-less plate. Notoriously tricky, so try a test batch first!
Party Foods & Sides
Festive Pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms. I fell in love with pierogi following my trip to Poland earlier this year. It’s a beautifully warming combination of carbs and veg.
Gluten-Free Ginger Bread Men – Take these into the office so that the vegans and the gluten-frees don’t feel left out over all the treats flying about.
Merlot Poached Pears – Nothing make a dessert truly festive like cinnamon and booze. Just keep an eye out that the Merlot used is vegan-friendly (most supermarket brands will label ‘vegan’ if appropriate)
Blackberry, Apple and Maple Crumble – Crumbles are easy, traditional and tasty. They’re the perfect dessert to veganise and take along to Christmas dinners (this will prevent you being stuck with a wet fruit salad for afters)
Vegan Yule Log – Take the time to create a beautiful, chocolatey Yule Log which will look impressively festive on your insta-feed this Christmas.
